A Site of Memory is a place where a community or nation collective remembers its past. On a WWII tour, this includes battlefields (like the Normandy beaches), memorials and museums (like the Warsaw Uprising Museum), cemeteries, and former concentration camps (like Auschwitz-Birkenau).
How large is a "small group" on this tour?
We cap our groups at 14 to 20 travelers. This ensures we can use smaller, more agile transport to reach off-the-beaten-path historical sites, easily navigate narrow European streets, and maintain an intimate environment for group discussions.
Will the tour be a non-stop lecture, or will I have free time?
